A day of being in nature on the beautiful Hilbre Island, singing songs of the sea as the tide comes in and surrounds us, maybe bringing seals with it. There will be free time to 'be' in whatever way calls you in this beautiful place, as well as time learning songs (indoors) and singing together (indoors and out!).

The walk to Hilbre from West Kirby takes roughly an hour and requires waterproof footwear. We will be on the island for roughly 6 hours and have access to a building for shelter and basic toilets. You will need to bring all the food and water you will need for that time.

Churches of the Clwyd Valley

A Singing Walk

A day in the beautiful Welsh countryside with the opportunity to sing in some lovely little churches. We will do a circular walk traversing footpaths along the bottom of the Clwyd hills then down into the valley along the riverside before returning to our starting point. This will be interspersed with visits to 5 churches, at which we will sing.

We will cover roughly 8 miles with an overall ascent/descent of 80 metres. Participants need to be used to regular walks of this length and have good walking boots. You will need to bring food for the day and water. There will be taps at some churchyards but these are not mains fed. There will be significant periods of time without access to toilets.
